Unnumbered years have passed it seems
Myriad of emotions still in thy eyes beam
At times of pleasure, blissful melody they seek
Amid the gloom of grief, with tears they speak
Of all moments once spent in solitude sweet
On flowery slopes among the stacks of wheat
Reminiscent of which are all thoughts refined
An encounter too sweet with an innocent mind
To this day all which, at times I gladly recollect
The scenes of splendour thee perfectly reflect
In thy crystal-adorned, pure amber eyes
Which sing of beauty; that long lost paradise!
One where we desired, to cherish an entire eternity
At a juncture complemented by the miracles of rain
What persist now are bewitching memories that prevail
As we pass each other, like strangers once again...
